Cold Comfort Balm

Description

Cold Comfort is for those little discomforts and traumas that call for healing, invigoration or perhaps a little sensory distraction. Organic menthol crystals and arnica are infused in organic olive oil and mixed with organic Eucalyptus and Peppermint essential oils for a gently invigorating yet soothing effect on bruises or congested sinuses.

How to use

WASH HANDS after applying.  

DO NOT use on broken or irritated skin or near eye tissue.  Not suitable for use on infants and very young children. 

Rub a small amount of Cold Comfort on sore muscles or bruisess.  Rub on the upper chest to provide some relief from coughs and stuffy sinuses.

Active Ingredients

Menthol- acts as a "counter-irritant" creating what's perceived as a cooling sensation which distracts the brain from pain signals.  Temporarily "exhausts" pain receptors, which creates a temporary numbing sensation.  Also increases blood flow locally where applied, providing an anti-inflammatory response.

Arnica- reduces swelling, bruising, and pain from injury

Eucalyptus and Peppermint-  both high in menthol, which is a natural analgesic, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory agent.  In aromatherapy, both peppermint and eucalyptus are used to clear the mind and ease stress.
